Debra is the owner and principle pet sitter at FPPS. She has had a passion for animals since before she could talk and as a child, always had the desire to be surrounded by them. Her family, although not surprised that she ended up in theatre, always felt she should have been a veterinarian.
Following a serious illness, Debra decided it was time to follow that passion and changed careers. While bringing in her cat, Gryphon, for blood-work one day, she told her vet office that she was making a career change out of theatre and wanted to work with animals and as fate would have it, Croton Animal Hospital had an opening! Debra worked at the Animal Hospital for 4 years and in that time, saw the unfortunate results of careless pet sitters and kennels. It is the little furry people that end up paying for the actions of neglectful caretakers which leave pet parents believing that they can't trust anyone to care for their beloved pets and feeling like they can never go on vacation. Debra decided that "THIS MUST STOP!" and founded her own pet services business with a mission to provide loving, compassionate care to the pets and peace of mind to the pet parents.
Debra is a pet parent to Timmy, a Pitbull/Ridgeback mix, four cats: Gryphon, Trevor, Porsche and Willow; a rabbit: Franklin; two birds: Gimlet and Pip.
